As Seen on TV! A Comedy Revue
Every Monday As Seen On TV! A Comedy Revue revives the spirit of Comedy Legend Peter Cook's Establishment Club, which is now Soho Zebrano.
True to its name, this weekly comedy night showcases a fantastic line up, with a famous star from "TV-land" as a special headliner.
Soho Zebrano has comedy night every Monday evening and is geared towards many trying out new material, plus a headliner to make you chuckle.
Next week, our curator and host comedian David Lewis has enlisted the talents of comic Lynn Ruth Miller. You're definitely in for a set which will show exactly why her tours have sold out yet again!
Lynn is the poster girl for growing old. She is over 80 years old and the only thing that frightens her is her own reflection.
After a career as a writer, tutor and newspaper columnist, Lynn only started as a comedian at 71 and claims to be the oldest performing stand-up comedian on both sides of the Atlantic.
She made it to Las Vegas in America's Got Talent 2008, won People's Choice in 2009 Branson Comedy Festival, the finals in Bill Word's Funniest Female Content 2009, semi-finals in the SF International Comedy Competition, the top 100 in Britain's Got Talent, the Time Out and Soho Theatre award for best cabaret show at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe for her show Granny's Gone Wild.
She is a regular at the San Francisco Punchline, The Stand in Scotland and The International in Dublin.
We are delighted to welcome Lynn to Soho Zebrano next Monday evening for a night of fun and mischief!
"Hilarious comedian, brilliant and endearing. A comic everyone should see." - Brighton Fringe
"Possibly the most memorable show I've seen, in the good old-fashioned mould of Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller" - Kate Kopstick - The Scotsman
What are customers say
"Great comedy show on a Monday night to extend the weekend. There were about 4/5 acts leading up to the TV headliner. Very funny, the best thing here is the different variety of acts. Nice vibe all tied together expertly by David the host, who had me laughing. Totally recommended!" - Richard
"It's a fiver to get in which gets you two drinks (unheard of in London) and a night of great comedy headlined by a comedian from the TV. The acts are well curated and the host David is hilarious and keeps the night moving at pace. Far too much fun for a Monday night!" - Foucy
"I had a brilliant time. Great, anarchic comedy by people you've seen on TV - and those that you soon will." - Chris
